High-Speed Cat 8 Cable

The Vszerda Cat 8 Ethernet Cable delivers 40Gbps data transmission with 2000MHz bandwidth over a 33 ft run. Its 26AWG flat braided construction uses S/FTP copper pairs and aluminium foil shielding to minimise crosstalk. Gold-plated RJ45 connectors ensure reliable contact for gaming, streaming and cloud workloads.

Upgrade From Older Categories

This cable replaces Cat 5e, Cat 6 and Cat 7 links when your router, modem or NIC can utilise 40Gbps throughput. The jump is worth it if your internet plan exceeds gigabit speeds or you move large files between local devices. It remains backward compatible with existing RJ45 ports.

Simple Installation Notes

The thin flat profile routes easily under carpets, along baseboards or through door gaps without bulky rounding. Cotton braiding adds flexibility but avoid sharp bends that could deform the internal foil shields. Ensure the RJ45 tabs click fully into each port to guarantee the rated performance.

Questions about this item

How thick is the 33 ft flat cable so I can check if it fits under my door gap?

The cable uses 26 AWG conductors inside a flat cotton braided jacket designed to slide under doors and along baseboards without adding bulk.

Do I need any tools to connect the gold plated RJ45 plugs to my router and PS5?

No tools are required; each end has a standard RJ45 connector that clicks into the port, just push until the tab locks and avoid bending the flat cable sharply at the plug.

Will the aluminum foil and braided shielding degrade over time if I run the cable along a warm baseboard heater?

The S FTP foil shield and cotton braid are rated for normal indoor temperatures; keep the cable away from direct heater contact to prevent jacket aging.
