50 ft Cat 8 cable for high-bandwidth setups

This 50 ft Cat 8 Ethernet cable supports 40 Gbps transfer rates at 2000 MHz bandwidth. It suits gaming PCs, consoles such as PS5 or Xbox, and networking gear that demands low latency and stable throughput over longer runs.

Braided shielded construction with PoE support

Four shielded foiled twisted pairs and gold-plated RJ45 connectors reduce crosstalk and noise. The cotton braided jacket survives at least 10000 bend cycles, and every length except 65 ft carries Power over Ethernet so cameras or access points need no separate supply.

Simple RJ45 plug-in with backward compatibility

Installation is a direct plug into any RJ45 port on routers, modems, PCs or consoles. The cable works with Cat 7, Cat 6e, Cat 6, Cat 5e and Cat 5 equipment. Avoid the 65 ft variant if PoE is required, and confirm your devices have standard RJ45 jacks before ordering.

Questions about this item

Will the cotton-braided jacket on this 50 ft Cat 8 cable hold up after repeated bending?

The manufacturer states the braided cord survives at least 10000 bend cycles without breaking, so the jacket should remain intact through normal routing and repositioning.

What bandwidth ceiling will I hit first when running this cable at its rated 2000 MHz continuously?

The cable is specified for 2000 MHz bandwidth and 40 Gbps throughput; sustained use will be limited by the connected devices' port speeds rather than the cable itself.

Does the 50 ft length draw enough power to cause noticeable heat or signal loss during all-day PoE operation?

PoE is supported on this 50 ft length, and the pure copper conductors with F/FTP shielding keep resistance low, so heat buildup and voltage drop stay minimal during continuous use.
