Vszerda Coaxial Cable Connector 6 Pack Gold-Plated Female to Female

Coaxial Extension Solution

This pack provides six gold-plated female-to-female connectors designed to join RG6 and RG59 coaxial cables. They serve installers and homeowners who need to extend existing cable runs without purchasing new long cables. The F-type threading allows tool-free installation by simply screwing the cables together. Each coupler acts as a straight-through gender changer for standard coaxial feeds.

Signal Integrity and Limits

Gold-plated shells resist corrosion and friction to maintain conductivity over time. The supplier states that signal attenuation cannot be avoided completely, yet it has no perceptible impact on transmission speed or quality. These couplers handle typical residential and commercial audio/video distribution tasks. They are not suited for runs where cumulative loss exceeds system margins or where impedance matching demands precision components.

Upgrade Context

The connectors replace the practice of buying pre-made long cables or using crimp-on F-connectors with a barrel joiner. They are worth choosing when a quick, reusable, tool-free joint is preferred over permanent crimping. They do not address needs for weather-sealed outdoor ratings, high-frequency satellite IF bands beyond typical CATV ranges, or applications requiring DC block or power-passing features.
