Vszerda DisplayPort 1.4 cable 6.6 ft

This DisplayPort 1.4 cable carries 32.4 Gbps bandwidth over 6.6 ft. It supports 8K at 60 Hz, 4K at 144 Hz and 2K at 240 Hz. It is built for gamers and creators who need high refresh rates at high resolutions.

Installation and common issues

Connect the DisplayPort plug to a GPU or laptop and the HDMI plug to a monitor or TV. The cable is backward compatible with DisplayPort 1.3 and 1.2. A loose latch or a port limited to an older standard will cap the refresh rate.

Capacity and headroom

The link handles 7680 x 4320 at 60 Hz with DSC 1.2 and HDR10. It also runs 5120 x 2880 at 60 Hz and 3840 x 2160 at 120 Hz. It cannot exceed 32.4 Gbps, so 8K above 60 Hz or 4K above 144 Hz is not possible.

Questions about this item

How do I confirm the cable is delivering 8K at 60 Hz after connecting it?

Check your GPU control panel or monitor OSD to verify the active resolution reads 7680x4320 at 60 Hz and that HDR10 is enabled.

What comes in the box and do I need any extra adapters?

The package contains the 6.6 ft DisplayPort 1.4 cable with gold-plated connectors; no separate adapters are required for a DP-to-DP link.

Which resolution and refresh combination should I pick for my 144 Hz gaming monitor?

Select 3840x2160 at 144 Hz in your display settings; the cable’s 32.4 Gbps bandwidth and DSC 1.2 support that mode.
