Lets four computers share two monitors, keyboard, mouse and three USB 3.0 devices at up to 8K 60 Hz
This DisplayPort KVM lets four desktops or laptops share one keyboard, one mouse and two monitors. Extended, mirrored and spliced display modes are available when the connected graphics hardware supports multi-display output. Driver-free operation works with Windows, Linux, macOS, Unix, Ubuntu and Raspberry Pi systems.
The unit measures 2.0 in by 3.0 in by 1.0 in and weighs .88 kilograms. Two DisplayPort 1.4 inputs per computer plus a USB link carry video and peripheral data, while three USB 3.0 ports on the switch accept keyboards, mice, printers or scanners at up to 5 Gbps. A wired remote button and front-panel push button with LED indicators provide two ways to change the active system.
No internal fan is present; heat dissipates through the metal case during normal operation. The included power adapter supplies the switch and downstream USB 3.0 ports, which draw up to 5 Gbps bandwidth per port. Typical power consumption remains low because the device only routes DisplayPort 1.4 signals at up to 32.4 Gbps and USB traffic without active signal processing.
