Questions about this item

What does the 8K@60Hz rating actually deliver when I connect this KVM to my PC and monitors?

It lets you run a single display at up to 8K resolution with a 60Hz refresh rate, or dual monitors at 4K 144Hz, provided your computers and cables also support those modes.

Which video interface and version limit the throughput on the HDMI and DisplayPort connections?

The switch handles up to 8K@60Hz and 4K@144Hz over its HDMI and DP ports, so the practical ceiling is set by those resolution and refresh-rate combinations.

What physical space and cabling does the unit need to sit on my desk and connect four computers?

All HDMI, DisplayPort and USB 3.0 ports face the rear, so you need rear clearance for eight video cables plus four USB upstream cables, plus room for the included power adapter.
