Dual-monitor KVM for two computers

This HDMI KVM switch lets one keyboard, mouse and dual-monitor setup control two computers or laptops. Each system must already support dual-display output. The unit shares two USB 3.0 peripherals and a 3.5 mm audio device between the connected machines.

Check your video outputs and USB needs

Both computers need two HDMI ports each to drive the dual monitors. Mechanical keyboards are not supported on the USB hub. The switch handles USB 3.0 devices at up to 5 Gb/s and passes stereo audio through the 3.5 mm jack.

Metal chassis with button.

A compact metal enclosure houses the ports and provides manual push-button switching, an infrared remote and keyboard hotkeys for rapid changeover. HDMI and USB 3.0 connectors are grouped on the rear for tidy cable routing. The 3.5 mm audio jack sits on the front for easy headset access.

Questions about this item

Does the switch ship with all cables needed for two computers and two monitors, or must I buy any separately?

The package includes the KVM unit, a remote control and a power adapter. Four HDMI cables and two USB upstream cables are not supplied and must be purchased separately.

My monitors run at 4K 60 Hz and 1440p 144 Hz — will this model handle both simultaneously?

Yes. The switch supports 4K at 60 Hz, 2K at 144 Hz and 1080P at 240 Hz with RGB 4:4:4, so both displays can run at their native refresh rates.

What does the 5 Gb/s USB 3.0 rating mean when I plug in a keyboard, mouse and external SSD?

The two USB 3.0 hub ports share a 5 Gb/s upstream link, giving enough bandwidth for keyboard and mouse plus fast SSD transfers, while mechanical keyboards are not supported.
