Dual-monitor KVM for two computers

This Vszerda KVM switch lets one keyboard, mouse and set of peripherals control two computers or laptops across two monitors. It provides four USB 3.0 ports for shared devices such as printers or scanners and supports both extended and copy display modes selectable via the operating system.

HDMI and DisplayPort video limits

The switch handles video up to 4K at 60 Hz and 2K at 120 Hz through its HDMI and DisplayPort connections. Mixed input resolutions are accepted, for example one system at 4K 60 Hz and the other at 1440p 60 Hz, though the final image depends on the graphics cards, monitors and cables used.

Upgrade from single-screen or USB 2.0 sharing

It replaces a single-monitor KVM or a basic USB 2.0 switch by adding a second display output and 5 Gbps USB 3.0 bandwidth. The jump is worthwhile when a dual-monitor workflow or faster peripheral transfers are needed; it does not suit setups requiring more than two computers or displays.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the HDMI or DisplayPort input for my 4K 60 Hz monitor?

Both inputs support 4K at 60 Hz; pick whichever cable matches your graphics card output — the switch handles either equally.

What does 2K at 120 Hz mean for my 1440p gaming monitor?

The switch can pass a 1440p signal at 120 Hz, so high-refresh gaming works provided your GPU, monitor and cables all support that rate.

Does the USB 3.0 hub run at full 5 Gbps when I switch between PCs?

Yes, the four USB 3.0 ports deliver up to 5 Gbps data throughput on the active computer, dropping to 480 Mbps only if a USB 2.0 device is attached.
