NVME and SATA extension cable
The Vszerda EP-050-BK is a male-to-female adapter that extends an NVME or SATA solid-state drive away from its motherboard socket. It suits builders who need to route a drive around tight clearances or mount it in a remote bracket. The package contains two small circuit boards joined by a flexible 30cm cable.
PCI-E 4.0 and NVMe 1.4 limits
The link operates at PCI-E 4.0 speeds, so NVME drives are capped at the 64Gbps ceiling defined by the NVMe 1.4 specification. SATA drives remain limited to 6Gbps regardless of the faster bus. The adapter does not perform any protocol translation, so an NVME drive cannot be plugged into a SATA host or vice versa.
M-Key M.2 socket compatibility
This part fits M-Key M.2 sockets and accepts drive lengths from 2230 up to 22110 millimetres. It cannot convert between key types or bridge an M-Key drive to a B-Key or E-Key slot. Buyers with a non-M-Key socket or a drive longer than 22110mm need a different solution.

Questions about this item
Should I choose the 30cm or 40cm version for my build?
The cable supplied is 30cm long; the 40cm figure appears only in the supplier title.
What does the 64Gbps headline rate mean once installed?
It is the PCI‑E 4.0 x4 ceiling for NVMe 1.4 drives; actual throughput depends on the SSD and host controller.
Which interface standard does the adapter use and what does it cap?
It passes PCI‑E 4.0 signals for NVMe (up to 64Gbps) and SATA 6Gbps for NGFF SATA drives; no protocol conversion is performed.
