Vszerda Fibocom L850-GL WWAN Card

This Vszerda Fibocom L850-GL 01AX792 module adds LTE Cat9 connectivity to specific ThinkPad laptops through an M.2 interface. It suits professionals who need mobile broadband on supported X1 Carbon, X1 Yoga, T-series, L-series, P-series, A-series and D330 models.

Sustained LTE Cat9 Operation

Built on the Intel 7360 platform, the card delivers a downlink speed of 450 Mbps across LTE FDD, LTE TDD and WCDMA bands during continuous use. It maintains high-speed full-memory performance for notebook, gateway, industrial monitoring and telemedicine workloads without throttling.

Thermals, Noise and Power Draw

The 30 by 42 by 2.3 mm internal form factor fits the approved ThinkPad slots with no moving parts, so it runs silently. Power consumption stays within the laptop's WWAN rail, adding no audible fan noise or measurable heat to the chassis under normal operation.

Questions about this item

How much power does the Fibocom L850-GL draw when running all day?

The module is based on the Intel 7360 platform and uses an M.2 interface; LTE Cat 9 downlink reaches 450 Mbps while fitting a 30 x 42 x 2.3 mm footprint.

What must my laptop already have for this WWAN card to work?

Your ThinkPad needs an M.2 WWAN slot and must be one of the listed models such as X1 Carbon 6th, X280, T480, T480s, T580, P52, X1 Yoga 3rd or 4th.

Will the L850-GL 01AX792 coexist with the original Wi-Fi card in an older ThinkPad?
