Converts HDMI input to composite RCA output at up to 1080p 60Hz with selectable NTSC or PAL format, powered via the included DC cable
This converter changes a digital HDMI signal into an analog composite video output with stereo audio. It accepts 480p, 720p, 1080i and 1080p sources at 50 or 60 Hz and displays them on older TVs or monitors that only have three RCA jacks. The unit is powered by an included DC cable and requires no drivers or software installation.
Verify that the display has yellow, red and white composite RCA sockets before ordering. The adapter does not accept 4K or 3D signals such as those from a PS4 and cannot function in reverse as an AV to HDMI converter. Ensure the source device outputs one of the listed resolutions or the picture will not appear.
The converter draws minimal current through the supplied DC cable, typically from a USB port on the source or a spare charger. No internal fan or active cooling is present so operation is silent. The lightweight 0.078 kilogram enclosure adds negligible heat to an AV rack.

The box includes the HDMI-to-RCA converter and a DC power cable. You must supply an HDMI cable for the source and a three-RCA composite cable for the TV.
Choose NTSC for North America and PAL for most other regions using the TV-format selector on the converter.
The converter accepts 1080p at 50 or 60 Hz and outputs a composite CVBS signal; the TV displays it at standard-definition resolution, not 1080p.
