Versatile HDMI 2.1 switch for gamers and streamers

This Vszerda HZ21 unit handles 48 Gbps bandwidth and works as a 2-in-1-out or 1-in-2-out selector. It supports 8K at 60 Hz, 4K at 120 Hz and 2K at 144 Hz plus high refresh rates at 1080p. Ideal for users juggling a PS5, Xbox, laptop or streaming box on a single display.

Check your cables and power before ordering

You need three HDMI cables rated for the resolution and refresh rate you plan to use. The switch draws power from a USB-C port on the side so a spare USB charger or powered port is required. Both connected sources must be on for the bidirectional mode to detect the active signal correctly.

Compact metal chassis with front toggle button

The aluminium shell measures 8.15 by 5.67 by 0.59 inches and weighs 3.52 ounces. A single press cycles the active port while an LED ring shows which input or output is live. All three HDMI sockets face the same edge for tidy cable routing behind a TV or monitor.

Questions about this item

What comes in the box with the Vszerda HZ21 and do I need to buy HDMI cables separately?

The package includes the HZ21 switch, a user manual and a power cable. HDMI cables are not included and must be purchased separately.

Should I use this switch as 2-in-1-out or 1-in-2-out for my PS5 and Xbox setup?

It works bidirectionally: connect two sources to one display or one source to two displays. Note that both outputs cannot show an image at the same time.

Will the advertised 48 Gbps bandwidth actually deliver 4K at 120 Hz on my TV?

Yes. The 48 Gbps HDMI 2.1 link supports 4K@120 Hz, 8K@60 Hz and 2K@144 Hz, provided your source, cables and display all meet the same specification.
