A two-port HDMI KVM switch lets you control two computers with one monitor, keyboard and mouse at up to 4K@30Hz and includes two USB 2.0 hub ports for shared peripherals
This KVM switch lets a single HDMI monitor, keyboard and mouse manage two computers. It includes two USB 2.0 hub ports so peripherals such as printers, flash drives or wireless input devices can be shared without re-plugging. The unit draws power from the connected USB cables and requires no external adapter. It suits home offices, classrooms or test benches where desk space and hardware costs need to stay low.
The switch passes video signals up to 4K at 30 Hz and 2K at 60 Hz, with support for 1080P and lower resolutions. Switching is instant via the wired push-button or a keyboard hot-key sequence, so there is no software latency during changeover. Sustained operation at the highest resolution remains stable because the device is bus-powered and has no active cooling to throttle. Users must confirm that both source computers and the display support the target resolution for it to work.
The enclosure is small enough to sit behind a monitor or tuck into a cable tray, and the included USB cables connect directly to each computer for power and data. A tethered push-button on a short cable provides physical switching without reaching around the back of the unit. USB 2.0 hub ports accept wired or wireless keyboards, mice, storage drives and other peripherals, keeping the desktop tidy while two systems share one screen and input set.
