Ideal for extending short LAN cables

This pack of five shielded RJ45 couplers joins two male Ethernet patch cords into a single longer run without tools. Installers and home users can bridge gaps in existing cabling instead of pulling new cable through walls or ceilings.

Rated for 1Gbps over Cat6 and backwards compatible

Each female-to-female connector meets the TIA/EIA 568-C.2 standard and supports 1000Mbps transmission across Cat6, Cat5e and Cat5 UTP cables. Gold-plated contacts and a metal-shielded housing preserve signal integrity and resist interference.

Five couplers protect device ports during frequent

The silver aluminium alloy shells are wear-resistant and shockproof for repeated plug cycles. Keeping a spare on a test bench or in a tool bag lets technicians extend cables instantly while shielding expensive switch or NIC ports from physical stress.

Questions about this item

Will the 1000Mbps rating hold when I join two Cat6 patch cables with this coupler?

Yes, the shielded 8P8C coupler is rated for 1Gbps transmission and meets the 568-C.2 standard, so gigabit speeds are maintained across the connection.

Does the RJ45 female-to-female interface support Power over Ethernet devices?

The coupler works with PoE equipment, passing both data and power through the gold-plated contacts without extra configuration.

What physical space does each silver coupler need behind a patch panel or wall plate?

The compact aluminum alloy housing fits standard keystone cut-outs and leaves enough clearance for adjacent cables in tight racks.
