Vszerda

Vszerda PCI-E 6pin to 8(2+6)pin 18AWG 60cm internal power cable

SKU CH-C1CA-MHWNW

Extends a PCIe 6-pin connector to an 8-pin (2+6) plug using 18AWG wire over 60cm

  • Extends GPU power reach with 60 cm length
  • Converts 6-pin to 8-pin (2+6) for wider compatibility
  • 18 AWG conductors handle high current safely
  • New condition ensures reliable performance out of the box

PCI-E 6-pin to 8-pin power adapter

This 60 cm cable converts a standard PCI-E 6-pin connector into an 8-pin (2+6) plug for graphics cards that require the larger socket. The 18 AWG conductors handle the current needed for typical mid-range GPU installations. It is intended for builders whose power supply lacks a native 8-pin PCI-E lead.

Thermals noise and power draw

The passive cable adds no active cooling, fan noise or measurable heat of its own during normal operation. Voltage drop across the 60 cm length is minimal at the rated gauge so the GPU receives stable power without extra draw from the PSU beyond the card's own requirement.

Questions about this item

How do I connect the 6-pin end to my PSU and the 8(2+6)-pin end to my graphics card?

Plug the 6-pin connector firmly into the PCIe 6-pin port on the power supply, then insert the 8(2+6)-pin connector into the graphics card's PCIe power socket until it clicks.

When should I replace the 18AWG 60cm cable?

Replace the cable if the insulation shows cuts, the pins are bent or discoloured, or the connectors no longer latch securely.
