Seasonic PSU PCIe Cable

This 60 cm internal power cable connects a Seasonic FOCUS, PRIME or M12II EVO power supply to a graphics card using an 8-pin 6+2-pin PCIe connector. It supports units rated from 450 W up to 1000 W. The cable is sold new and is intended for builders replacing a lost or damaged lead in a compatible Seasonic modular PSU.

Thermals Noise And Power Draw

The cable carries auxiliary power to the GPU without adding active cooling or moving parts. It produces no audible noise and its own thermal contribution is negligible inside a ventilated case. Power delivery matches the PSU output rating of the connected Seasonic unit.

Questions about this item

How do I plug the 6+2 pin connector into my graphics card without bending the extra two pins?

Align the 6-pin section with the GPU socket first, then let the detachable +2 segment click into place; forcing the full 8-pin block in one motion often bends the floating pins.

Will the cable insulation degrade if my Seasonic PSU runs near its 1000W rating for long periods?

The wire gauge is sized for the full 1000W output of compatible Seasonic units, so normal sustained loads will not cause premature insulation breakdown.
