Compatible Seasonic Modular PSUs

This PCIe cable fits Seasonic Focus Plus Gold, Platinum, PX, GX and SGX modular power supplies rated at 650, 750, 850 and 1000 watts. It provides a dual 8-pin 6+2-pin GPU connector from a single PSU port. The cable is new and intended as a replacement or spare for those specific units.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

Builders with a compatible Seasonic modular PSU who need an extra GPU power lead can use this cable. It is not for owners of non-modular Seasonic units, other brands or modular PSUs with different pin-outs. Buyers needing a single 8-pin connector or a different cable length must choose another product.

Questions about this item

Will the cable ends need replacing after a few years of GPU upgrades?

The 6+2-pin connectors are rated for the same mating cycles as standard PCIe power plugs, so they do not require scheduled replacement.

What is the first limit reached when the GPU draws full power continuously?

The cable is designed for Seasonic Focus Plus, Platinum, PX, GX and SGX units of 650, 750, 850 and 1000 W; the PSU’s own protection will trip before the cable overheats.
