PCIe x1 to 4-port USB 3.2 Gen 1 expansion card
This PCIe x1 card adds four USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports to a desktop system. It provides one external USB Type-C port, one external USB Type-A port, and a 20-pin internal header for two additional front-panel ports. The card fits PCIe x1, x4, x8, or x16 slots and includes both full-profile and low-profile brackets.
5 Gbps bandwidth shared across four ports
The card operates under the USB 3.2 Gen 1 standard with a maximum signal rate of 5 Gbps. That bandwidth is shared among all active ports, so simultaneous high-speed transfers on multiple devices will reduce per-port throughput. It is backwards compatible with USB 2.0 and USB 1.1 devices at their native speeds.
SATA 15-pin power for stable operation
A 15-pin SATA power connector supplements the slot supply, giving the four ports enough current for bus-powered drives and peripherals. Without that auxiliary connection the card may not sustain full speed on multiple devices at once. The internal 20-pin header supports two front-panel USB 3.0 ports using a single connector.

Questions about this item
Should I pick the full-profile or low-profile bracket for my case?
The package includes both brackets; use the full-profile for standard ATX cases and the low-profile for slim or half-height chassis.
Will the 5 Gbps headline speed be reached with my existing USB 3.0 drives?
Yes, the card delivers up to 5 Gbps over USB 3.2 Gen 1, matching the native rate of USB 3.0 devices.
Does the PCIe 2.0 x1 interface limit the four ports in practice?
The x1 lane provides sufficient bandwidth for the combined 5 Gbps throughput of all ports under typical loads.
