This Vszerda PWM fan splitter cable connects two computer PWM fans to a single motherboard fan header. The 1-to-2 Y-cable lets you add an extra fan to increase airflow inside your case. It comes in a 2-pack with black sleeved cables measuring 10 inches each. Both 3-pin and 4-pin fans are supported.

Check Motherboard Header and Fan Connectors

Verify that your motherboard has a 4-pin PWM header available for the splitter's receptacle. The master connector passes the RPM signal to the board while the slave omits it. Note that 3-pin fans will run at full speed without PWM control. Only the fan on the 4-pin connector is monitored by the motherboard.

Sustained Load Behaviour With PWM Control

Under sustained load all connected fans follow the same PWM signal from the motherboard. Fan speeds stay synchronised when controlled through software such as AI Suite or similar utilities. The 22AWG copper conductors deliver stable power to both fans during continuous operation.
