This three metre USB Type C to USB Type C cable delivers Thunderbolt 4 and USB4 performance with 40 Gbps data transfer. It supports 240 W USB PD 3.1 charging at 48 V and 5 A for laptops and power-hungry peripherals. The male-to-male design connects M1 M2 M3 MacBooks iPad Pro iPhone 15 Pro Max SSDs monitors docks and eGPU enclosures.

Suited for high-power charging and 8K display links

Professionals who need a single cable for 240 W charging and 8K 60 Hz or dual 4K 60 Hz video will benefit from the certified throughput. Builders who require longer reach than three metres or who need angled connectors for tight spaces should consider other form factors.

240 W USB PD 3.1 power delivery decides

The 48 V 5 A rating determines whether the cable can fast-charge large laptops and high-draw devices without voltage drop. If the connected hardware only supports lower power profiles the extra headroom remains unused but the cable still operates at full 40 Gbps data speed.

Questions about this item

How much power can this 240 W cable actually deliver to my laptop?

It supports USB PD3.1 up to 240 W at 48 V/5 A, so any device that negotiates that profile will charge at full speed.

What does the 40 Gbps rating mean for real-world file transfers?

The cable is certified for USB4 40 Gbps and Thunderbolt 3; actual throughput depends on the host and peripheral controllers.

What clearance do the male-to-male USB-C plugs need behind my monitor?

Each plug is a standard USB-C male connector; allow enough rear space for the cable to exit without sharp bends.
