2.5 Gb USB 3.0 Ethernet Adapter

The Vszerda USB 3.0 to RJ45 adapter adds a 2.5 Gb Ethernet port to laptops or desktops through a USB 3.0 connection. It uses a Realtek RTL8156BG chip and supports IEEE 802.3 standards. The aluminium housing aids heat dissipation during sustained transfers. Grey finish.

Plug into USB 3.0 for Wired Network Access

Connect the adapter to a free USB 3.0 Type-A port to gain a 2.5 Gb RJ45 link. It draws power from the USB bus so no external supply is needed. Pair with a 2.5 Gb capable router or switch to exceed 1 Gb limits. LED indicators show link and activity status.

For Users Needing Faster Wired Speeds on USB 3.0

Suits owners of ultrabooks, MacBook Air or Pro, Dell XPS, iMac or Mac Mini lacking a 2.5 Gb port. Not for devices without USB 3.0 Type-A ports unless a separate hub is used. Incompatible with Nintendo Switch, TV, Synology NAS and Wii per manufacturer notes.

What must my laptop already have for this adapter to work?

A USB 3.0 port and a 2.5 Gbps-capable router or switch are required to reach the rated speed.
