Vszerda USB-C 8K Bi-Direction Switch
This USB-C switch operates as a 2x1 KVM or a 1x2 splitter for video, data and power. It suits users who alternate one host between two displays or share one display between two hosts. It does not serve buyers who need both screens active at the same time or who want to chain a Thunderbolt dock through the unit.
Sustained 10 Gbps data and 8K30 video
The link runs at USB 3.1 Gen 2 10 Gbps continuously while delivering up to 8K at 30 Hz, 4K at 120 Hz or 1080p at 165 Hz. External 5 V DC power is mandatory; without it the connection drops under load. Long cables beyond 1.5 metres introduce flicker or signal loss during extended sessions.
Passive cooling with mandatory DC input
No fan is present; the aluminium shell dissipates heat from the PD 3.0 controller handling up to 100 W. The unit stays silent in normal operation. A supplied USB-A to Micro-B cable feeds the 1.35 × 3.5 mm DC jack, and the switch draws no measurable power from the hosts when the external supply is connected.

Questions about this item
Does the Vszerda 8K switch generate much heat or noise when it runs all day with 100W power delivery?
The unit has no fan and relies on passive cooling; it stays quiet during continuous operation, though the 100W PD load will make the enclosure warm to the touch.
Which cables and power source must I already own to use this switch in 2×1 mode with two laptops and one 8K monitor?
You need two USB-C 3.1 Gen 2 cables rated for 10Gbps, a 5V DC supply for the 1.35×3.5mm jack, and a monitor cable that supports 8K@30Hz or 4K@120Hz.
Will the switch work reliably with an older 1080P@144Hz display and a legacy USB 3.0 host?
Yes, it down-scales to 1080P@144Hz and falls back to 5Gbps on USB 3.0 hosts, but you must still provide the external 5V DC power for the switch to function.
