A bidirectional USB-C KVM switch lets two computers share one display or one computer drive two monitors at up to 8K 60Hz, 4K 120Hz or 1080p 165Hz with 10 Gbps data and 100 W charging
This bidirectional USB-C switch connects two video sources to a single display or one source to two displays with one-button switching. It is aimed at users who move between a laptop and a desktop or a tablet and a console without unplugging cables. The unit requires a standard USB 3.1 Gen 2 cable for the link and a USB power cable to operate. It is not a hub, so only one video path is active at any moment.
The switch passes up to 8K at 60Hz, 4K at 120Hz and 1080p at 165Hz when the source, cable and monitor all support those modes. Data moves at up to 10Gbps over USB 3.1 Gen 2 for fast file transfers to attached drives. Power Delivery reaches 100W to charge a connected laptop or tablet while the video link is active. Actual resolution and speed depend on the capabilities of the host, the display and the cable used.
The aluminium-bodied switch works with Thunderbolt-equipped devices that support USB-C Alt DP mode. A front-mounted Select button toggles the active path instantly, and an LED shows which port is live. Cables longer than 1.5 metres are not recommended for reliable 8K or high-speed data operation. The package includes the switch only; all video and power cables must be supplied separately.

The switch requires a USB-C 3.1 Gen 2 cable for full 10Gbps data and 8K video. With Gen 1 the link will run at lower speed and resolution.
Check your OS device list for a 10Gbps USB connection and verify the attached laptop reports 100W PD charging. The front LED shows the active port.
The box contains the switch unit and a USB power cable. You must supply two USB-C 3.1 Gen 2 cables rated for 8K video and 10Gbps data, each no longer than 1.5 metres.
