3-in-1 USB-C Multiport Adapter
This adapter converts a single USB-C port into an HDMI video output, a USB 3.0 Type-A data port, and a USB-C Power Delivery charging port. It is designed for laptops and tablets that support DisplayPort Alternate Mode over USB-C, such as MacBook, Chromebook Pixel, Galaxy S8, S9, Yoga 900, and XPS 13 models.
HDMI 4K 30Hz and USB 3.0 5Gbps
The HDMI port delivers video up to 4096×2160 resolution at 30Hz and also supports 1080p, 720p, and 480p signals, compatible with HDMI 1.4 and earlier versions. The USB 3.0 Type-A port provides data transfer speeds up to 5Gbps for connecting peripherals like keyboards, mice, and external drives.
PD 100W pass-through charging
The USB-C female port accepts Power Delivery input up to 20V5A (100W maximum) to charge the host device while the adapter is in use, including 14.5V/2A charging for compatible MacBooks. The host device must support DisplayPort Alternate Mode for video output; devices without this capability will not transmit video through the HDMI port.

Questions about this item
Will the USB 3.0 port still run at 5 Gbps if I plug in an older USB 2.0 flash drive?
Yes — the port negotiates the highest speed the connected device supports, so a USB 2.0 drive will operate at its native 480 Mbps while newer drives can reach the full 5 Gbps.
How can I confirm the HDMI output is actually delivering 4K at 30 Hz after I connect it?
Open the display settings on your MacBook or Chromebook and verify the external monitor shows 4096×2160 at 30 Hz; the adapter also falls back to 1080p or 720p if the display does not support 4K.
Does the box include an HDMI cable or a USB-C power brick, or do I need to supply my own?
Only the adapter itself is included — you must provide an HDMI cable for the display and a USB-C PD charger up to 100 W (20 V / 5 A) for pass-through power.
