Vszerda USB-C 3.1 10Gbps cable

This one-metre cable carries USB 3.1 Gen 2 signals at up to 10Gbps and delivers up to 60W of power. The male-to-male connectors are angled at 90 degrees to reduce strain in tight ports. It suits users who need charging, data and video from a single flat braided lead.

Limits of USB 3.1 Gen 2 and DP Alt Mode

The 10Gbps rate and 4K 60Hz video output only work when both host and device support USB 3.1 Gen 2 and DisplayPort Alternate Mode. Without DP Alt Mode the video function is inactive and the link falls back to lower USB speeds. Actual charging current may reach 20V 2.5A rather than the theoretical 20V 3A.

Braided flat cable with angled connectors

A nylon braid over a flat plastic-and-metal sheath resists kinking and tangling during daily carry. The up-and-down 90-degree plugs keep the cable close to the device edge, helpful beside a laptop hinge or a wall-mounted monitor. Gold-plated contacts maintain reliable mating over repeated insertions.

Questions about this item

Which length should I pick for my setup?

The cable is 1 metre (3.2 ft) long, which works well for desk-to-monitor or laptop-to-hub connections without excess slack.

What does the 10 Gbps rating mean when I copy files?

It supports USB 3.1 Gen 2 speeds up to 10 Gbps, so large video folders transfer in seconds, provided both host and device also run at Gen 2.

Will the USB-C connector deliver 4K 60 Hz to my display?

Yes, the cable carries 4K at 60 Hz (3840×2160) over DisplayPort Alt Mode, but only if the source USB-C port supports that video mode.
