Vszerda RJ45 Male-to-Female Adapter 2-Pack

This two-pack of black RJ45 adapters converts a male Ethernet plug into a female port. Gold-plated contacts and PVC moulding protect the internal circuit from corrosion and wear. The connectors suit PC, server, printer, router, switch, PoE device and other LAN equipment.

Extends Port Life on Frequently Swapped Cables

Replaces a worn wall jack or device port by taking the mechanical stress of repeated plugging and unplugging. The jump is worth it when a fixed port is damaged or hard to reach and a short gender change restores reliable 100M connectivity.

Verify T568A-T568B Wiring

The adapter follows the T568A-T568B wiring standard and is rated for Category 5 cable supporting 100M transmission. Confirm your existing cabling and device ports match this specification so the gender change does not introduce a mismatch.

Questions about this item

What clearance does the 45-gram PVC body need behind a patch panel?

The compact moulding adds roughly 3 centimetres of depth so allow that much free space behind the keystone or wall plate.

Which wiring scheme should I match when plugging the T568A-T568B adapter into a Cat5e patch cord?

Wire the patch cord to either T568A or T568B; the adapter passes all eight pins straight through so the existing scheme is preserved.

When should the gold-plated contacts be replaced to keep 100-megabit PoE links reliable?

Inspect the contacts after a few hundred insertions; if the gold looks worn or the latch feels loose swap the adapter to avoid intermittent power.
