Solar power for battery cameras

The VUEBEE 13W panel supplies 5 V to outdoor security cameras through USB-C, Micro USB or 5.5x2.1mm DC connectors. It targets owners of battery-powered cameras who want to stop swapping cells or running mains cables. The IP66 rating and -5 °F to 120 °F operating range suit year-round exterior mounting. Buyers whose cameras need 12 V or 9 V input cannot use this unit.

5 V output decides compatibility

The single specification that determines fit is the fixed 5 V output across all three connector types. Your camera must accept 5 V via USB-C, Micro USB or a 5.5x2.1 mm barrel jack; higher-voltage devices will not charge. The 13 W monocrystalline array delivers that voltage in direct sunlight. No other voltage or current figures are provided.

Weatherproof operation and flexible aiming

The IP66 enclosure resists rain, snow and dust while the 360 ° adjustable bracket lets you angle the 12.9 x 7.67 x .31 in panel toward the sun. A 2.2 m (7.2 ft) cable separates panel from camera so the array can sit in full light while the camera stays shaded. At .948 kg the unit adds minimal load to a wall or fence mount. No active cooling or noise is present.

Questions about this item

What does the 13 W rating mean for daily camera operation?

The 13 W monocrystalline panel converts sunlight to 5 V power during daylight, offsetting battery drain so the camera can run longer without manual recharges.

How does the 5 V output with USB-C, Micro USB and 5.5×2.1 mm DC connectors limit which cameras I can use?

The panel only supplies 5 V, so it works with cameras that accept 5 V through one of those three ports; higher-voltage or proprietary connectors are not supported.

What mounting hardware and clearances does the 360° bracket need?

The kit includes screws for a three-hole drill pattern; the bracket rotates 360° and the panel measures 12.9 in × 7.67 in × 0.31 in, weighing 0.948 kg.
