12U Wall-Mount Enclosure

The Walts TV 12U-WALL-RACK is a 12U wall-mounted rack enclosure designed to house network switches, patch panels and shallow servers. It ships with 24 10-32 screws, four lag bolts and four anchors for secure mounting. Two keys operate the lockable front door and removable side panels.

Suits Small Network Rooms

This cabinet suits installers who need a compact 12U footprint with 135 lb weight capacity and active cooling fans. It is not suited for deep servers that exceed the usable depth, nor for deployments requiring more than 12U of vertical space. Buyers needing higher load ratings or additional rack units should look at larger enclosures.

Build Integration

The enclosure frees floor space by mounting directly to studs or masonry using the supplied hardware. Removable side panels simplify cable routing and equipment installation before the unit is secured. Active fans draw ambient air through the chassis, reducing the need for separate fan trays in low-density installations.

Questions about this item

What wall structure do I need to mount the 12U-WALL-RACK using the included 4 lag bolts and 4 anchors?

The 4 lag bolts and 4 anchors are designed for solid wood studs or concrete walls; verify your wall can accept those fasteners before installation.

Will my existing 10-32 rack screws work with the 12U-WALL-RACK if I lose the included 24 screws?

Yes, the cage nuts accept standard 10-32 threads, so any compatible 10-32 screws will fit the 12U mounting rails.

How can I confirm the active cooling fans on the 12U-WALL-RACK are running after I power the unit?

Listen for fan airflow at the ventilation openings and feel air movement; the fans operate when the unit is connected to power.
