A Wi-Fi 6 indoor access point delivering 1.2 Gbps on 5 GHz and 574 Mbps on 2.4 GHz with four internal antennas and a single PoE+ gigabit port
The WatchGuard AP130 delivers Wi-Fi 6 connectivity for small offices and remote workers. It operates on 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands with a 2x2 radio and four internal omnidirectional antennas. A single Gigabit Ethernet port provides PoE+ power and uplink. WPA3 encryption secures the wireless link.
Peak power consumption reaches 10.9 W and averages 10.5 W during normal operation. The unit is powered entirely through the PoE+ port so no separate power supply is needed. Internal antennas and fanless design keep the device silent in office environments.
This access point replaces older indoor APs that lack Wi-Fi 6 and WPA3 support. The jump is worth it when you need 1.2 Gbps on 5 GHz and 574 Mbps on 2.4 GHz for low-density deployments. An active Management License is required to activate and manage the device through WatchGuard Cloud.

Mount the AP130 indoors, connect the single RJ-45 port to a PoE+ switch or injector, then activate a Standard or USP Management License in WatchGuard Cloud before the device will operate.
The AP130 requires an active Management License to stay managed in WatchGuard Cloud; renew the Standard or USP licence when it expires to keep configuration and monitoring working.
The single 1 Gbps PoE+ uplink caps total throughput at 1 Gbps even though the 5 GHz radio can reach 1.2 Gbps and the 2.4 GHz radio 574 Mbps.
