Replacement MWF Filter Cartridge

The Waterdrop WD-F13 is a carbon-block refrigerator filter rated for 300 gallons or 6 months of service. It replaces GE MWF, MWFP, MWFA, GWF and Kenmore 9991 cartridges across a long list of compatible fridge models. The white plastic housing meets NSF/ANSI 42 and 372 standards with certificates issued in 2022. Maximum operating pressure is 100 psi and water temperature must not exceed 38 °C.

Twist-in installation with no tools required

Align the cartridge, push upward and turn a quarter-turn until it locks; then flush 1 to 2 gallons to clear carbon fines. The most common issue is forgetting to purge air, which causes sputtering or cloudy water for the first few dispenses. O-ring seating should be checked if drips appear at the housing after the first day. No plumbing modifications are needed.
