8 MP IMX219 network camera with 170° FOV

This 8 megapixel IP camera uses the IMX219 sensor to capture 3280 × 2464 resolution video across a 170 degree field of view. It delivers 3.3 V power output and mounts via four screw holes on a 32 mm square board. The module is designed for AI vision projects on Jetson Nano and Compute Module 3 or 3+ platforms.

Wide 170° field of view with <22% distortion

The lens provides a 170 degree diagonal angle of view with a 2.2 mm focal length and F2.0 aperture on a 1/4 inch CMOS. Distortion stays below 22 percent, making the wide perspective usable for face recognition, road mark detection and licence plate recognition tasks.

For Jetson Nano and CM 3/3+ AI developers

Developers building computer vision prototypes on Jetson Nano or Compute Module 3 and 3+ can integrate this camera directly. Buyers who need a standard C/CS mount, Power over Ethernet, onboard encoding or a weatherproof housing should look at other form factors.

Questions about this item

What does the 3280 × 2464 resolution mean for captured images?

The sensor produces 8 megapixel stills at 3280 × 2464 pixels, giving detailed frames for computer-vision tasks such as face or licence-plate recognition.

Which interface does the camera use and what does it limit?

The module connects via the standard CSI-2 ribbon interface on Jetson Nano and Compute Module 3/3+, capping bandwidth to the host’s two-lane CSI capability.

What mounting holes and board size should I plan for?

Four screw holes on a 32 mm × 32 mm PCB allow direct attachment to enclosures or carrier boards designed for that footprint.
