Questions about this item

What does the 12 V output mean when the adapter is plugged into my Yamaha drum pad?

It delivers the exact 12 V DC the module expects, so the instrument powers up and runs at its designed performance level.

What does the 100-240 V AC input range cap in practice?

It lets the adapter accept mains voltage anywhere from 100 V to 240 V at 50 or 60 Hz, so you can use it worldwide without a voltage converter.

How much space does the 6.5 ft cord need to reach an outlet from my music stand?

The 6.5 ft total cord length gives you that much reach from the power brick to the wall socket, plus the DC lead to the drum pad.
