Compatible LG portable DVD models

This 12 V AC/DC adapter replaces the original power supply for LG DP581B, DP570MH, DP382-NR, DP450 and DP-9800 portable DVD players. It delivers the exact voltage and polarity those devices require.

Continuous mains operation

The unit accepts 100-240 VAC at 50/60 Hz worldwide, so it runs steadily from any household outlet without overheating. Built-in over-current, over-voltage, short-circuit and total-power protection circuits guard the adapter and the player during extended viewing sessions.

Fixed cable length constraint

A 6.5 ft power cord connects the wall plug to the player, limiting placement to that radius from an outlet. The adapter carries FCC, CE and RoHS certification, confirming it meets basic safety and emissions standards for indoor use.

Questions about this item

How hot or noisy does the 12V adapter get when it powers an LG DP581B all day?

The unit has over-current, over-voltage, short-circuit and overheating protection with a smart chip, so it stays cool and silent during continuous use.

Which mains plug or cable must I already own to use this 100-240VAC charger?

The adapter includes a 6.5 ft power cord with a standard wall plug, so no extra cable is needed for UK, EU or US sockets.

Will this 12V supply work reliably with my older LG DP382-NR portable DVD player?

Yes, it is listed as 100% compatible with the DP382-NR, DP450, DP570MH, DP581B and DP-9800 models.
