Compatible replacement adapter

This AC/DC adapter replaces the original power supply for Seagate Backup Plus Hub desktop drives, specifically the 8 TB and 6 TB models STEL8000100 and STEL6000100. It delivers the correct voltage and polarity so the drive spins up reliably without modification.

Build integration and cable reach

The unit accepts a world-wide input range of 100-240 VAC at 50 or 60 Hz, so it works on any mains supply without a separate voltage switch. A total cord length of 10 ft gives flexibility when routing power behind a desk or inside a media cabinet.

Protection and thermal behaviour

Built-in safeguards include over-current, over-voltage, short-circuit and total-power protection, plus over-heating protection managed by a smart chip. The adapter meets FCC, CE and RoHS certifications, indicating compliance with standard safety and emissions limits for continuous desktop use.
