Purpose and Compatibility

The WAWEIS WA-24E12 is a replacement AC adapter built for Seagate FreeAgent, BlackArmor, Expansion, Desk for Mac and Xtreme Theater external hard drives. It supplies the 12 V output those devices require and includes a 6.5 Ft power cord for flexible desk placement.

Sustained Operation

Safety circuitry provides over-current, over-voltage, short-circuit and total-power protection during continuous use. The unit accepts a wide 100-240 VAC input at 50 or 60 Hz, so it remains stable on varying mains supplies without overheating.

Interface Limits

The barrel connector and fixed 12 V rail are matched to the listed Seagate models only; the adapter will not power devices that need a different voltage or connector type. Certifications cover FCC, CE and RoHS compliance for the markets where those standards apply.
