PC headset splitter for CTIA headsets

This 3.5 mm TRRS female to dual TRS male Y-adapter lets you connect a single headset to separate PC audio and microphone ports. The 30 cm cable suits desktop or laptop setups where the two jacks sit close together. It is built for CTIA-standard Android headsets and will not work with Apple earbuds or OMTP devices.

Gold-plated contacts for steady signal

The 24K gold-plated connectors resist oxidation so stereo output and mono microphone input stay clean during long gaming or VOIP sessions. Kevlar-braided jacket and aluminium shells protect the cable from repeated bending and tangling. The lightweight 9 g assembly adds no strain to the ports.

Questions about this item

Does the 30 cm cable add any audible hiss or heat during long gaming sessions?

The passive gold-plated 3.5 mm TRRS-to-dual-TRS splitter draws no power and has no active electronics, so it introduces no hiss, no heat and no latency regardless of session length.

What ports must my PC or laptop already have for this adapter to work?

Your computer needs separate 3.5 mm stereo output and 3.5 mm microphone input jacks; the adapter splits a single CTIA headset plug into those two distinct TRS male connectors.

Will my older OMTP-wired headset function correctly with this Y-adapter?

No — the splitter only supports CTIA-standard Android headsets; OMTP-wired or Apple Earbuds will have reversed microphone and ground contacts and will not work properly.
