This hard-shell case fits only the MacBook Pro 15.4 inch with Retina Display identified as model A1398 and released between 2012 and 2015. It will not fit the 13 inch models, the MacBook Air, the older A1286 with an optical drive, or the 2016 and 2017 Touch Bar models A1707.
