Model-Specific Compatibility

This hard-shell case fits only the MacBook Air 13.6 inch with M2 chip, Liquid Retina display and Touch ID released in 2022. The model number A2681 must match the code printed on the bottom of the laptop. It covers variants MLXW3LL/A through MLY43LL/A and includes a silicone keyboard skin.

Buyers Needing Flexible Fit

Owners of any other MacBook Air, MacBook Pro or Windows ultrabook cannot use this case because the moulding is unique to the A2681 chassis. Users who prefer a sleeve, a folio or a soft-shell bag should look at a different product type. The crystal-clear finish also means the Apple logo remains visible, which may not suit buyers wanting full coverage.

Exact Model Verification

The single specification that decides fit is the model identifier A2681 printed on the underside of the MacBook. If that code does not appear exactly as shown, the case will not align with ports, vents or the hinge. No other dimension or feature can substitute for this check.
