Who this fits and who it does not

Buyers who own the exact A2681 model get full port access, vented airflow and rubberised feet that keep the laptop stable. Anyone with a different MacBook Air size, an earlier M1 model or any other laptop brand cannot use this case.

Deciding specification

The case works solely with the A2681 model identifier printed on the bottom of the MacBook Air 13.6 inch 2022 M2 unit. Matching that number is the only way to confirm compatibility before purchase.

Questions about this item

Does the hard shell block the MacBook Air M2 13.6 inch A2681 vents during all-day use?

The case has air-flow vent slots cut into the shell so heat can escape while the laptop runs continuously. Rubberised feet keep the base slightly raised for extra airflow.

Must I already own the exact MacBook Air 13.6 inch M2 2022 model A2681 for this case to fit?

Yes. The case only fits MacBook Air 13.6 inch M2 2022 models with model number A2681 (MLXW3LL/A, MLXX3LL/A, MLXY3LL/A, MLY03LL/A, MLY13LL/A, MLY23LL/A, MLY33LL/A, MLY43LL/A).

Will the snap-on shell and keyboard cover work with an older MacBook Air 13 inch if I keep using it?

No. The case is moulded exclusively for the 13.6 inch M2 2022 A2681 chassis; it will not fit any earlier 13 inch MacBook Air models.
