Matte Transparent Hard Case for MacBook Air 13 inch

This hard shell case fits MacBook Air 13 inch models with Retina Display and Touch ID released from 2018 through 2022. The matte transparent finish lets the Apple logo show through while protecting against shocks, scratches and dust. Snap-on installation allows full access to every port without removing the case.

Model Coverage and Fit Limits

Compatible models include A2337 M1, A2179 and A1932 across the listed release years. The case dimensions are 12 x 8.5 x 0.62 inch matching the laptop's 11.97 x 8.36 x 0.61 inch profile. Two silicone keyboard covers are included, one for 2020‑2022 models and another for 2018‑2019 models. The case will not fit any other laptop model.

Ventilation and Port Access Constraints

Vent slots follow the laptop's airflow pattern to aid heat dissipation while the shell remains closed. Rubberised feet keep the device stable on flat surfaces. All ports stay reachable and the lid opens fully without interference. Buyers who need a case for a different MacBook size or a non‑Retina model cannot use this product.

Questions about this item

Will the 12 x 8.5 x 0.62 inch case fit my MacBook Air 13 inch A1932 from 2018 alongside its existing charger?

Yes, the hard shell is designed for the 11.97 x 8.36 x 0.61 inch dimensions of the 2018 A1932 model and the snap-on design lets you plug in your charger without removing the case.

How can I confirm the case vents are releasing heat properly after I snap it on?

The case includes vent slots that align with the MacBook Air's airflow; after setup you should feel warm air exiting those slots during heavy use, confirming heat dissipation is working.

Which keyboard cover matches my MacBook Air 13 inch A2179 M1 2020 model and do I need to buy anything else?

The box includes two silicone covers — one for the A2179 M1 2020 keyboard and one for the older A1932 layout — so you use the correct cover and no extra purchase is required.
