#12 Regular Envelope Dimensions

The #12 regular envelope measures 4.75 by 11 inches and uses white sulphite paper with a vellum finish. Each box contains 500 envelopes with a diagonal seam and no window. The paper is SFI certified and has 92 percent brightness. A remoistening seal closes the flap.

Sustained Mailing Performance

The 28 pound stock resists tearing when filled with multi-page documents during high-volume mailing runs. Diagonal seam construction keeps the envelope flat on inserter equipment and reduces jams over long batches. SFI certified sulphite maintains consistent brightness and finish across the full 500 count box. Cartons of 2500 envelopes support continuous production without frequent reloading.

Upgrade From Smaller Envelopes

This size replaces standard letter envelopes when documents must stay unfolded or when inserts exceed smaller format limits. The jump is worth it for legal-length pages, contracts, or marketing materials that need a professional flat presentation. Buyers who need a window for address visibility or a heavier weight for extra rigidity will not find those features here.
