WESTERN STATES #47 Open End Franklin Clasp Envelopes 5.5 x 7.5 32# Golden Kraft Metal Clasp Box 100

WESTERN STATES #47 Envelope Overview

The WESTERN STATES #47 Open End Franklin Clasp Envelopes measure 5.5 x 7.5 inches and come in a box of 100. They are made from 32# Golden Kraft paper with an SFI certification. The open-end design suits catalogs, booklets or multiple documents. Machine-finished surfaces provide a consistent feel for everyday mailing tasks.

Build Quality and Daily Use

A center seam adds structural strength while the metal clasp allows repeated opening and closing without adhesive wear. The remoistening seal offers a permanent closure option when needed. Flap extension gives extra surface for sealing and labeling. Golden Kraft colour aids quick visual identification in a busy mailroom.

Replacement and Upgrade Context

These envelopes replace lighter-weight mailers that tear under heavier inserts. The 32# stock handles thicker catalogs or multi-page reports without splitting. Buyers who need windowed envelopes or peel-and-seal convenience will not find those features here. The box of 100 suits moderate volume; high-volume shippers may prefer the 1000-count carton.
