Size and Format

These #4C open-end coin envelopes measure 3 by 4.5 inches and come in a box of 500. The centre-seam construction and remoistening seal keep contents secure without a window. SFI-certified Roptex kraft paper in tan brown provides a consistent vellum finish.

Suited Uses and Limits

The small dimensions suit coins, stamps, seeds, jewellery findings or bulk receipts that fit the 3 by 4.5 inch footprint. Offices needing to mail standard letters, A4 documents or thicker catalogues will find the envelope too narrow and short for those tasks.

Deciding Specification

Each box contains 500 envelopes at 20 lb paper weight, weighing 2.5 lbs per box. This quantity and stock weight determine whether the pack matches your volume and durability requirements for daily sorting or archival storage.

Questions about this item

What does the 20# paper weight mean for everyday use?

The 20# basis weight gives a lightweight but sturdy sheet that resists tearing when handled and feeds cleanly through most desktop printers.

How does the remoistening seal work in practice?

Moisten the flap with water or a dampener and press down; the gum reactivates to form a secure closure without tape or adhesive strips.

What are the exact envelope dimensions for storage planning?

Each envelope measures 3 inches by 4.5 inches, so a full box of 500 fits in a standard letter-size drawer or shelf compartment.
