Check envelope dimensions and paper weight

Verify that the 3 by 4.5 inch size fits the coins, stamps or small parts you plan to store. Confirm the 28-pound kraft stock is sturdy enough for your handling needs. Ensure the open-end, centre-seam design works with your sealing process.

Questions about this item

Does the box of 500 envelopes include any additional sealing supplies or do I need to buy moistener separately?

The envelopes have a remoistening seal on the flap so you only need water to activate the adhesive; no extra sealing products are included or required.

Should I choose the 28# weight or a heavier grade for mailing small metal parts?

The 28# tan kraft stock with a vellum finish is the only weight offered for this #4C size; it is designed for coins and similar small items.

How much does a full box of 500 envelopes weigh when placed on a postal scale?

Each box weighs 3.5 lbs, so that is the figure you will see on a scale before adding postage.
