Envelope Size and Style

These #6 baronial envelopes measure 4.75 by 6.5 inches and feature a pointed flap with a diagonal seam. The bright white sulphite paper has a 98% brightness rating and a smooth vellum finish. A remoistening seal provides secure closure for each envelope.

Ideal Uses and Limitations

Suited for personal correspondence, invitations, and greeting cards where a formal presentation is required. The 28# stock offers a substantial feel for handwritten or printed pieces. Not intended for buyers who need a window envelope for automated mailing or a larger format for unfolded documents.

Paper Weight and Brightness

The 28-pound basis weight combined with 98% brightness defines the premium look and rigidity of this stationery. These specifications determine whether the envelope meets the quality threshold for professional announcements. Each box contains 250 envelopes weighing 3.5 pounds total.

Questions about this item

Will 4.75" x 6.5" cards fit inside these envelopes without folding?

Yes, the envelope interior matches the 4.75 by 6.5 inch dimensions, so flat cards of that size slide in easily.

How do I seal the remoistening flap without it sticking prematurely?

Apply a light, even layer of moisture along the gummed edge, press firmly for a few seconds, and avoid touching the adhesive before you are ready to close.

When will I need to reorder a fresh box of 250?

Each box holds 250 envelopes; reorder when your supply runs low — typical office use goes through a box in weeks to months depending on volume.
