Silver Foil-Lined Announcement Envelopes

These A-2 envelopes measure 4.375 x 5.75 inches and feature a silver foil lining inside a bright white sulphite stock. The paper is 28 lb weight with a 96 percent brightness rating and a vellum imaging finish. Each box contains 250 envelopes suited for formal invitations or announcements.

Build and Compatibility

The square flap uses a traditional remoistening seal for secure closure. Two side seams under construction add durability during handling and mailing. The acid-free, SFI certified paper works with inkjet and laser printers for addressing or custom designs. No window means the full face is available for handwritten or printed details.

Ideal Use Cases

This 250-count box suits event planners, stationers, or households sending wedding invitations, graduation announcements, or holiday cards. The foil lining adds a decorative interior accent for special occasions. Buyers who need larger quantities should note the master carton holds 1000 envelopes. Those requiring window envelopes for billing or bulk mail should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

What paper weight does the envelope use to prevent show-through?

The 28 lb sulphite stock is thick enough to block most printed content from showing through the foil lining.

Will the remoistening seal hold after the envelopes sit in a warm office?

Yes, the remoistening adhesive stays tacky at normal room temperature and humidity for everyday mailing.

Do these fit standard A2 cards without trimming?

The 4.375 x 5.75 inch dimensions match the A2 size, so cards slide in cleanly with no cutting needed.
