Practical Construction

Questions about this item

What does the 24# paper weight mean for mailing?

The 24# white sulphite stock provides enough stiffness for machine processing while keeping a standard #7 envelope under the one-ounce letter rate for typical single-sheet contents.

Will these 3.75 x 6.75 envelopes fit in a standard #7 tray or sorter?

Yes, the 3.75 by 6.75 inch dimensions match the USPS #7 regular size, so they stack in any #7 tray, sorter pocket or desktop organiser made for that format.

How do you seal the remoistening flap without it curling?

Apply a light, even moisture across the full flap width, press firmly for a few seconds, then keep the envelope flat while the adhesive sets to prevent edge curl.
