#9 Regular Envelopes for Office Mailing

These #9 regular envelopes measure 3.875 x 8.875 inches and come in a box of 500. They are designed for standard business correspondence, invoices and statements. The 24 lb bright white sulphite stock provides a professional appearance for everyday mailing needs.

Practical Limits of Standard #9 Sizing

The fixed dimensions restrict contents to folded letter-size sheets or smaller flat items. The remoistening seal requires manual moistening for each envelope, which slows high-volume processing. The diagonal seam construction limits expansion for bulky multi-page documents.

96% Brightness Acid-Free Paper Determines Archival

The 96% brightness rating on SFI certified sulphite paper ensures high contrast for printed text and images. Acid-free composition prevents yellowing and deterioration of stored documents over time. This specification decides whether the envelopes meet long-term record-keeping requirements.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the Full Seal or Split Seal version of these #9 envelopes?

The Full Seal version has a continuous gummed flap that creates a complete seal when moistened, while Split Seal has two separate gummed sections; this box contains Full Seal envelopes.

What does the 24# paper weight mean for everyday mailing?

24# sulphite stock is sturdy enough to hold multiple sheets without tearing, yet light enough to keep postage costs low for standard business correspondence.

How does the 96% brightness affect printed text and images?

The 96% brightness gives a high-contrast white background that makes black toner or ink appear crisp and colours look vivid on the vellum finish.
