#93 Open End Catalog Envelopes

These catalog envelopes measure 9.5 by 12.5 inches and come in a box of 100. The open-end design with a metal clasp secures documents without adhesive. They are made from 32 lb golden kraft paper with a machine finish. This product suits offices mailing flat reports or catalogues.

Center Seam and Remoistening Seal

The center-seam construction adds strength along the middle of the envelope. A remoistening seal on the extended flap provides a traditional gummed closure option alongside the metal clasp. Both sealing methods rely on manual application. Automated mailing equipment may not be compatible with the clasp mechanism.

SFI Certified Golden Kraft Paper

The 32 lb golden kraft stock carries SFI certification for responsible forestry sourcing. Paper weight and finish determine durability and printability for handwritten or inkjet addresses. Buyers needing lighter paper or a different colour should select another grade. This box weighs 6.2 lbs.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the box of 100 or the carton of 500 for my mailing volume?

The box contains 100 envelopes at 6.2 lbs; the carton holds 500 envelopes across five boxes, so match the quantity to how many you ship each month.

What does the 32# Golden Kraft rating mean when the envelope is loaded with documents?

The 32-pound basis weight gives a stiff, tear-resistant sheet that supports catalogs or multi-page files without bowing, and the SFI-certified kraft fiber holds up in automated mail equipment.

How does the Franklin clasp and remoistening seal work together for repeated opening?

The metal clasp on the 9.5 x 12.5 inch open end secures the flap for transit, while the remoistening seal lets you reseal after inspection without tape or glue.
