Announcement Envelopes for Mailings

These A-6 envelopes measure 4-3/4 by 6-1/2 inches and come in a box of 500. The 24 lb white stock has a 92 percent brightness level and a vellum finish. Two side seams under construction and a square flap down design suit formal announcements and invitations.

Sustained Handling and Sealing

The 24 lb paper weight resists tearing during high-volume stuffing and machine inserting. Vellum texture maintains consistent feed through rollers without excessive slip or jam. Remoistening seal activates reliably across long print runs without curling or premature adhesion.

24 lb Weight Determines Suitability

Choose this box when mail pieces require a substantial feel that meets standard postage thresholds. Lighter stock would reduce cost but may not satisfy rigidity expectations for formal correspondence. Heavier grades increase postage expense without a matching benefit for typical announcements.

Questions about this item

Does the 24 lb paper weight make these envelopes noisy when feeding through a high-volume printer all day?

The 24 lb stock feeds smoothly in most office printers without excessive noise or jamming during long print runs.

What printer setting or tray adjustment is needed for the 4-3/4 x 6-1/2 inch size and square flap orientation?

Select the A-6 or custom size in your printer driver and load the envelopes flap-side down to match the square flap design.

Will the remoistening seal on these 92% brightness envelopes adhere reliably if I store them alongside older envelope stock?

Yes, the remoistening seal activates with moisture regardless of adjacent stock, and the 92% brightness vellum finish resists curling in normal office conditions.
